Types of lifting / webbing slings
Buying webbing slings is a good idea when heavy loads have to be hoisted. There are various types of lifting slings that are made from various fibers . All lifting straps are provided with a label with a coding according to CE standards, EN standards and tonnage colours and stripes. The European colour coding determines which working load belongs to which colour. For example, purple webbing slings can carry 1 tonne, green straps 2 tonnes and red straps 5 tonnes. The lifting straps are available in any required length. The difference between lifting slings / round slings is that a round sling is continuous, and that a sling made out webbing has eyes to which you can easily attach your connector. If you have any doubts about the best hoisting equipment for your project, please contact us for some no-obligation advice.
