Safe lifting and lashing? Prevent wear and tear with protective covers
When lifting and lashing, you must be able to rely on your webbing slings and lashing straps. If they wear out faster or even get cut due to sharp edges or corners, this can lead to dangerous situations. Our protective covers prevent unnecessary wear and tear, cuts and fraying by literally forming a protective layer between the sling and the load. This is not only safe, but can also save costs by extending the life of your slings. Covers with a thickness of 5 mm are available for lifting belts and lashing straps from 30 to 180 mm. For slings and straps from 240 mm up to 300 mm, we have PU protective covers with a thickness of 8 mm. You can opt for polyurethane protection on one or both sides. It is also possible to have your straps and belts fully encased in polyurethane.
Safety comes first
Safety is paramount at Van Gool. That's why we think it's important to protect your lifting slings against damage. As a company affiliated to the EKH (Approved Inspection Companies for Hoisting and Lifting Equipment) we can also inspect your slings. If desired, this can even be done on site!
