The Straightpoint compression load cell is ideal for structural hoisting applications, loading and other work where load calculation is essential. These load cells have a capacity from 5 to no less than 500 tonnes and a range of 1000 metres. The electrical signal emitted by the load cell can be read with a Handheld plus or the Straightpoint Desktop controller data logging software package (with centre of gravity readout, although it is also possible to convert the signal into an analogue output. The Straightpoint compression load cells are manufactured to the same strict quality standards as all other Straightpoint products. For example, the body is made of stainless and anti-corrosion steel and the meter has a compact and lightweight design.
