Advantages of the Crosby Eliminator 4-leg sling chain assembly
The Crosby Eliminator 4-leg sling has several advantages over traditional chain assemblies with adjustable chains. The first thing that stands out is that the system eliminates many links. Which immediately explains the name. For a rig with multiple slings, the Eliminator system requires up to 67% fewer links[US1] . This makes this assembly easier to use and easier to inspect. Another advantage is that thanks to a heavier type of master link, the existing chain sling can be extended without having to replace the existing legs. This means that the sling doesn't have to be rebuilt from scratch. The Eliminator 4-leg sling consists of a master link (A-1343) and two Crosby Eliminator 2-leg slings (L-1362). In addition to the version with two and four slings, we also supply the Crosby Eliminator 1-leg sling, and the Crosby Eliminator 3-leg sling.

The Eliminator 4-leg sling is manufactured from high-quality grade 100 steel and complies with the NEN-EN 1677 standard for forged steel for hoisting applications. The product can be supplied with a latched- or safety hook, with or without a grab hook. In order to guarantee safety even more, every product that leaves our premises has a valid safety certificate. We can also inspect or repair all Crosby Eliminators and other hoisting equipment that you already own at Van Gool.
